On the Occasion of World Tourism day 2017, Ministry of Tourism-Government of India had organized the National Tourism Awards for the year 2015-16. The Best National Tourism Film Award (Special Award) was bagged by Safe Wheels Tours & Travels for "VISIT MYSURU Film", for promoting Mysuru Tourism which enhances the Heritage and culture of Mysuru & its tourism.
The National Tourism Awards took place on Wednesday, 27th September 2017 at Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, 11am. The chief guest of the award function was Shri Ram Nath Kovind, Hon'ble President of India and was presided by Shri K J Alphons, Minister of State(IC) for Tourism and Minister of state for Electronics & Information Technology.
